I consult with small businesses, startups, and entities who desire to be the change they want to see in the world. I help these organizations bring their ideas to life by leveraging marketing, brand building, and strategy to build their business, increase awareness, and drive revenue.
The Why
I started CJL Consulting Group the same way my clients start their business—with an idea. An idea and a purpose. I believe that, through my marketing expertise, I am called to serve visionaries who have big ideas that will create mechanisms for generational wealth and positively impact the communities they serve.
There are groups that have been excluded from or had limited access to launch and scale sustainable and profitable businesses that have the potential to liberate the world and their surrounding communities.
Our mission at CJL Consulting Group is to make the launch and scale of small businesses sustainable, attainable, and profitable through clarity of vision, strategies for growth, and resources for development.
I believe in making my own opportunities rather than waiting for them. Instead of holding out for the perfect job, I started my own agency. By taking the reins of my career path, I was able to raise awareness of a local television show, increasing its revenue and reshaping the publicity of the city of Trenton. This work led to an opportunity launching the Destination Trenton tourism initiative. I increase tourism dollars and positioned the city as a top tourism destination, creating a domino effect of success: I won the New Jersey tourism Diamond Award, was offered the chance to launch the African American Cultural Festival and won the Trenton Small Business Week Creative Marketing Award.
Today, I use my marketing expertise for the good of others. My talent for bringing visions to life is my foundation to working toward positive change. I like to lead CJL Consulting Group with bright optimism, work collaboratively with teams, and leverage my drive, determination and willingness to overcome all hurdles as foundational pillars to see dreams come true. Above all, I believe there is a purpose in the work that is bigger than us all and I am humbled to be the marketer agency of choice in all of my clients’ business journey.
